These terms govern your use of this website and your purchase of products from us. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. Important health notice

Stratum is a personal wellness device. It is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and nothing on this website constitutes medical advice. Statements on this site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.

Do not use Stratum if you have a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, neurostimulator, insulin pump or any other implanted electronic device; if you are pregnant; or if you have epilepsy or any seizure disorder.

Do not use it over or near any known or suspected cancer; if you have deep vein thrombosis or any active blood clot; if you have a bleeding disorder or any active bleeding; on the neck, throat, head or chest; on broken, infected, irritated or recently irradiated skin, or over a recent scar; anywhere you have numbness or reduced sensation; while driving, operating machinery, bathing, showering or sleeping; or on children, or anyone who cannot follow the instructions or describe how it feels.

If your back pain has not been diagnosed, see a doctor before using Stratum, not instead of. If you have a diagnosed spinal condition, spinal hardware from a fusion, or you have had any back surgery, speak to your surgeon or clinician before your first session.

You use the product at your own risk and are responsible for following the instructions supplied with it.

2. Results

Individual results vary. Testimonials and reviews reflect individual experience and are not a promise or guarantee of results. Any anatomical figures we publish describe general adult anatomy and design intent, not a measured outcome for any individual.

3. Orders and pricing

All prices are in US dollars. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to refuse or cancel any order, including after an order confirmation has been sent. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full.

4. Payment

Payment is taken at the time of order. By submitting payment details you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method.

5. Shipping and returns

Our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy form part of these terms.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, images, graphics, logos, and the Stratum name and mark — is our property and may not be reproduced without written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your purchase or use of the product is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
